The next edition of DOMOTEX, the leading trade fair for carpets and floor coverings organised by Deutsche Messe, will take place from 11th to 14th January 2024 in Hannover, Germany under the theme FLOORED BY NATURE.
For a few days Hannover will serve as an international centre for the flooring sector and offer an ideal place for networking and getting business leads.
DOMOTEX will be held as a face-to-face event with additional digital offerings. This will once again provide all participants with a unique platform that brings together the world’s carpet and floor coverings industry at different locations around the globe. Exhibiting companies and trade fair guests from all over the world will be able to exchange information about new products and current trends in the industry – both on-site and virtually.
DOMOTEX will also include an on Stage conference program that offers a holistic view of future issues in the carpet and floor covering industry with speakers from the architecture and interior design, trade and retail sectors.
THE GREEN COLLECTION
THE GREEN COLLECTION is the name of the special area in Hall 23 where the key theme is made tangible with the aim of creating healthy, sustainable and at the same time inspiring spaces. This special area will provide information on the following 4 topics:
- Eco-friendly Products: organic and ethically produced material | recycled and upcycled
- Social responsibility: an active stand against child & forced labor | Social-ethical responsibility | Fair Trade
- Sustainable production: Non-polluting, energy-saving manufacturing processes
- Healthy Products: Low-emission products
The special show is rounded off by a top-class conference program on subjects such as circular economy and resource-saving production, as well as by the award ceremony for the GREEN COLLECTION Award.
The CISUFLO project will be presented in this special area during the 4 days of the fair. Posters and flyers will inform about the project and at the booth, the TFI staff expects to have numerous exchanges with representatives of the industry, architects, interior designers, designers, and the trade press. DOMOTEX has already supported the CISUFLO project in the application process as a member of the Transition Support Group (TSG) responsible for dissemination.
