CISUFLO General Assembly – A New Chapter for Sustainable Innovation

On Monday, 23rd, and Tuesday, 24th, the final General Assembly of the CISUFLO project took place at UNILIN’s facilities in Bazeilles, France. This event marked the culmination of four years of hard work, collaboration, and groundbreaking innovations in the field of circular flooring and carpet industry.

During the first day of the assembly, participants were offered the unique opportunity to visit UNILIN’s facilities. This allowed everyone to witness firsthand the impressive results they have achieved in the field of MDF recycling. Notably, UNILIN is investing in the world’s largest MDF recycling plant, positioning itself as a leader in sustainability and circular production methods. The scale of this investment reflects UNILIN’s commitment to driving forward environmentally responsible manufacturing processes.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to UNILIN for their hospitality and for providing such an insightful and engaging experience during the two days of the assembly.

We also want to express our sincere gratitude to the entire CISUFLO consortium. The collaboration, dedication, and hard work of all partners throughout this journey have been instrumental in achieving the project’s significant milestones. The technological developments around laminate recycling, PVC flooring solutions, and textile flooring innovations are just the beginning.

However, it is important to note that this is not the end of the project cycle. In fact, it marks the beginning of many exciting future collaborations. The CISUFLO project has already demonstrated significant progress in advancing circularity in the flooring industry, and these innovations are set to expand and scale.

Looking ahead, CISUFLO partners will continue to lead the way in developing and implementing circular economy solutions within the flooring industry.

Stay with us as we continue to showcase the work we’ve accomplished, exploring new frontiers of sustainability.
